Abstract

The objective of this project is to provide the student with familiarity with orthogonal polynomial theory and related topics, for example, differential equations, quadrature formulas, and hypergeometric functions. In this way, to prepare the student for future research activities in areas of applied mathematical analysis, in particular on topics related to orthogonal polynomials and their applications. (AU)
