Abstract

This project intends to follow up the studies made in the Ph.D. Program at the University of Campinas, with a fellowship awarded by FAPESP, through a Research Period in Portugal. This research aims the documental and bibliographical raise and analysis of the origins, elaborations, function, and circulation of the manuscript translations in Portuguese of the treatise "Perspectiva Pictorum and Architectorum", by Andrea Pozzo (1642-1709). The main documents of these translations have different origins and contexts, justifying the analysis of each one. Moreover, this project also intends to raise the diverse editions of "Perspectiva Pictorum et Architectorum" and make a photographic record of Pozzo's artistic production, since this documentation has never been fully presented in Brazilian researches.
