Abstract

Currently, cancer leads the ranking of causes of death in most countries, especially in the United States and Brazil. Due to this, numerous research projects have been carried out aiming at the development of new drugs and therapeutics for this disease. The objective of the proposed project is the introduction of roots in vitro of Tontelea micrantha to obtain triterpenes quinonametídeos through tissue culture techniques.
