Abstract

Nowadays, the Space Sciences have received great emphasis, especially in the interplanetary environment, where the availability of satellites with new technologies in larger numbers and distributions, of equipment on the surface of the Earth, and as well as, the implantation of networks of observatories or experimental stations of geophysical data have created the necessity of the tools data analysis improvement, and even, the development of new approaches. The purpose of this project will be the analysis of spatial geophysics phenomena, the learning signal processing techniques, the application to specific cases, and also, the participation in the scientific discussions for the physical phenomenon interpretation. The interplanetary data obtained by the ACE satellite will be used here, as well as, the geomagnetic indexes AE and Dst for the detection of HILDCAAs / HILDCAAs* events. Subsequently, the CADI digital ionosonde will be used to the analysis of the ionospheric parameters and to investigating the incidence of HSS / CIR during the HILDCAAs / HILDCAAs*. The applied methodology consists of studying the dynamic characteristics of High Intensity, Long Duration and Continuous AE Activity (HILDCAA / HILDCAA *) using a set of geomagnetic index data over the years 2012 and 2017. Also, we will correlate the list of 2012-2017 events to the HSS / CIR phenomena and to the ionospheric variability. (AU)
