Abstract

The reflectance spectroscopy technique can be an effective method to measure and monitor the soil. The interest in the use of spectroscopy applied to soil is growing continually. To make this spectral information functional, it is necessary to group soils with similar spectral behavior. The aim of the project is to develop a pioneer soil spectral classification system using only the spectra information. The new soil classes will serve as the basis for soil mapping. (AU)
