Abstract

In this research internship, we intend to identify documentation and bibliography that will allow us to verify the local patterns of entrepreneurial-military collaboration for the repression of the workers' movement and its organizations that took place at the end of the last Argentine military dictatorship (1976-1983) and during the first government of the "democratization", that of Raúl Alfonsín (1983-1989). We will evaluate in what ways the transitional justice initiatives implemented in the country relate to the workers' memory about repression, to the tactical repertoire developed by Argentine workers in that period and to the repressive practices they encountered during the political transition. Given that the Argentine transition is often referred to as a model in Brazil because of the readiness and extension of the policies of truth and justice implemented, this research will allow us to establish a more precise and nuanced understanding of another transitional experience, developing a more complex frame of reference to guide the writing of one of the chapters of our thesis.
