Abstract

This project of research in scientific initiation aims to develop an ethnographic study about the interactions between people and between those ones and the physical space in São Paulo's subway, specifically, the lines 2-Green, 3-Red and 4-Yellow. Through participant observation, I'll turn my focus to the analysis of the corporality and the senses used by the users of this means of transportation. The field research will be done in the connections between the lines, in some stations that don't present connections and inside the train wagons, aiming to highlight the differences between the various forms of interaction. Despite the diversity I'll find, I believe the visual interaction will be the main one.
