Abstract

The research project which was introduced here has as objective understand how the internet will be incorporated as a political marketing tool during the electoral race, in order to influence the final outcome of Brazil's 2018 presidential elections. For such, will be accompanied and analyzed the official pages of the two candidates for the presidency of the republic on the social networks Facebook and Twitter, based on Resolution No. 23,551 of the Superior Electoral Tribunal (TSE) for the electoral campaigns for the year 2018 for the analysis. This research project proposes to identify the e-marketing strategies adopted for social networks by the respective marketing teams and how these will behave throughout the electoral campaign.
