Abstract

Our purpose with the BEPE research is to dialogue, advance theoretically, conceptually and methodologically about work, state and capital, especially in this period of resumption and intensification of neoliberal practices. We intend, more specifically, with the stage to deepen in the studies of how the capital, favored many times by the State, controls, dominates different spaces and territories, being that the work and different resources, like water are not out of this process. Therefore, we will aim at articulating the debate about the subordination of labor, the commodification of water, conflicts over water through the expansive and destructive model of capital, which, by the way, occurs in different spaces / territories, whether urban or rural, and affects in different ways different social subjects. Finally, we believe that the exchange in Portugal will enable us to advance theoretical, conceptual, methodological, practical (experiences) essential to the foundation of our doctoral thesis in execution in Brazil.
