Abstract

The project proposes to analyze the concert programs of and documents related to the Municipal Symphonic Orchestra of Campinas until 1974, when the orchestra becomes in fact municipalized, although the law that has officialized it is of 1968. The result of this work will be part of a major project aimed at raising the history of the orchestra from its inception in 1929 to the present day. It is important to note that in 2019 the orchestra is celebrating its 90th anniversary and this project is integrated into this celebration.
