Abstract

In view of the high incidence of fatal work accidents due to urban violence in large municipalities, this project aims to estimate distal risk factors for these occurrences, as well as to identify areas of high risk in a city located in one Metropolitan Region of southeastern Brazil. The study will be conducted by means of descriptive and qualitative analysis of fatal work injuries in Campinas, Southeast Brazil, in the year 2019, as well as through the analysis of the spatial distribution of fatal work injuries in the city. The results obtained will contribute to the proposal of emergency and palliative actions to safeguard the health of workers.
