Abstract

Faced with the energy problem that affects the country and the world, alternative and sustainable sources for energy generation have been researched. In both the international and domestic markets, biomass is considered as one of the main alternatives for the diversification of the energy matrix and consequent reduction of the dependence of fossil fuels by being easily converted to biogas with the aid of biodigesters. Through a motor-generator set, the biogas is converted into electrical energy, which can be used normally for its various purposes. Considering that in the last years we highlight researches with mathematical models that seek to relate the variables that influence the production of biogas in different types of biodigesters using pig waste as raw material and its resolution by means of the simplex or Excel method, the present This work aims to develop software for the web platform that uses Genetic Algorithm to solve the proposed optimization problem that analyzes the economic viability of the implantation of biodigesters in rural properties destined to milking cattle.
