Abstract

Recent work, Ferreira (2006, 1012), Bailey (2004), has shown that the mental representations of verbal arguments lingers in working memory even after corrections (in the case of fillers) or reanalysis (garden-path sentences). This works proposes, thus, a eye-tracking experiment to investigate the relation between memory priming and information structure, in accordance with the Good-Enough approach to processing. (AU)
