Abstract

The focus of the research is to analyze travel-writing (books and newspaper articles) of war correspondents from the United States during the Second World War in different parts of the world (European countries, North Africa, Pacific Islands, USSR) . The goal is to understand how they reported on the events of the front, how they saw enemies, allies, and the United States. It is mainly sought to understand local and global phenomena revealed purposely, or not, by the journalist's pen.
