Abstract

The increased use of chemicals has driven the search for a healthier option, so organic farming becomes preferred. However, the products destined to organic cultivation are still scarce in general, so it becomes necessary to study alternative products such as biofertilizers which provide various nutrients to the plants. The use of natural or synthetic products for nutrition are administered in a more practical and economical way when applied through seeds, with the purpose of this work is to evaluate the effect of the application of slurry and vinasse via seed in the production and physiological quality of the seeds and seedlings of onions, arugula, broccoli, cauliflower and squash. The experimental design will be completely randomized with four replicates, the treatments will be arranged in a 2 x 5 factorial scheme: two biofertilizers (slurry and vinasse) and the second factor in the concentrations (0, 5, 10, 20 and 40%). Each plant species will be an experiment, therefore a total of five experiments. The characteristics to be evaluated: germination, first germination count, shoot length, primary root, seedling length, seedling dry mass; emergency speed index and emergency test. Seedlings will also be produced and fresh aerial part weight, aerial shoot mass, shoot length, height of the neck and length of training will be evaluated. Each plant species will be submitted to analysis of variance, for the biofertilizer factor will be applied t test, for the concentration factor applied regression analysis, both at the 5% probability level.
