Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the Statute on Persons with Disabilities (Law No. 13,146 / 2015), which led to deep changes in the disability regime in private law. This study will be based mainly on two phases: (1) legal-dogmatic, starting from the central concepts and categories of private law on disability in Brazilian law; (2) interdisciplinary, of metadogmatic character, using the specialized literature of Psychiatry, through the conceptual description of schizophrenia and one case analysis.
