Abstract

Planet formation starts in a gaseous disk rotating around the young star called protoplanetary disk. Hydrodynamical simulations are commonly used to study the early stages of planet formation, as the dynamics of planets growing in gaseous disks. Planets gravitationally interact with the gas disk and migrate, typically inwards. In this research plan we will use hydrodynamical and/or N-body numerical simulations to simulate the formation of planetary systems with gas giants or super-Earths.
