Abstract

This research project aims to understand how relationships between body and city are established through transfeminine experiences, which are woven through the circulation between different landscapes and cities of different scales, at national and transnational levels. Through the dialogue between urban studies, anthropology of the body and transgender studies, we seek to analyze how body itineraries are elaborated in their relation with urban spaces, which do not settle in a single locality but spread out. The proposal is to understand, through ethnographic theories, how relationships are established between urbanity and embodiment through transfemininity. (AU)
