Abstract

The objective of this study will be to evaluate the influence of the dental adhesive color on the color assessment and fluorescence intensity of composite resin restorations with different thickness. Ninety bovine enamel blocks will be obtained and composite resin restorations will be made on them, varying the thickness of the restorative material and the enamel substrate as follows: 1 mm enamel and 1 mm composite resin; 1.5 mm enamel and 0.5 mm composite resin; 0.5 mm enamel and 1.5 mm composite resin. Restorations will be made according to the type of dental adhesive used: Ambar conventional adhesive system; Ambar conventional adhesive system with APS (colorless) and Single Bond Universal adhesive system (n = 10). A composite resin will be Opallis E-bleach H (FGM). The samples will be submitted to the spectrophotometer measurement analysis by CIEDE2000 and fluorescence intensity, before and after aging in the dye solution. Data of color stability ((”E00) and fluorescence intensity stabiity will be subjected to statistical normality and specific tests to verify significance between the media (± = 0.05).
