Abstract

This research project aims the development of low-pass filters to remove spurious signals that are created by nonlinearities in the components of superconducting circuitry. We intend to develop filters and incorporate then into the system in order to remove spurious frequencies that can create control errors or qubit transitions. The broader goal of this IC project is to train students in electronics and transmission line techniques, as well as the study of qubits and superconducting circuitry. (AU)
