Abstract

This study aims to perform hearing screening and assessment of body balance in adult patients that suffered of traumatic brain injury. Patients under medical monitoring at the neurotrauma/neurosurgery clinic of the Federal University of São Paulo will be selected and submitted to anamnesis, meatoscopy, hearing screening at the frequencies of 1000, 2000 and 4000 Hz and evaluation on static and dynamic balance. The analysis of the results will statistically studied by a professional of the area.Area of Knowledge: Health Sciences.Related Area: Speech Therapy.
