Abstract

Understanding the nature of hadronic states is one of the most challenging issues in thefrontiers of hadron physics. In recent years, experimental and theoretical efforts areespecially being focussed on the nontraditional hadronic states, which cannot be explained eitheras quark antiquark or 3 quarks states. One of the recent most claims on such kind of states is the existence of the Pc pentaquark states observed by the LHCb collaboration. The first discussion on the possibility of the existence of such non-conventional mesons andbaryons dates back to the original quark model of Gell-Mann and Zweig, in which multiquark states were already anticipated. In spite of such a long lapse of time, the recent intensified theoretical and experimental efforts show clearly that the topic is still controversial. Besides, regardless of all these efforts, there is still a vast unexplored energy region and systems in whichstates of non-conventional quark content could be found, especially at energies of 4<5 GeV. This isprecisely the energy region in which data is being obtained by some experimental facilities aroundthe world and in which even several new laboratories are being planned to work in the near future. It is the purpose of this thesis to explore the properties of exotic hadrons with masses in the above mentioned energy region, particularly, hadron bound states/resonances with a three-bodynature with/without strangeness and hidden charm quantum numbers.
