Abstract

This research project aims to conduct an ethnography with the residents of the Capão das Antas Camp, in the city of São Carlos – SP, regarding the repossession process in progress which claimant is the city hall. In view of the imminence of expulsion, part of the occupants seek to establish new strategies to resist the compulsory displacement to which they are being subjected, reallocating state crystallizing categories of legal support in the public policy implementation agenda. My hypothesis is that the re-articulation does not happen only at the institutional level, but in the movements inside and outside the Camp, enabling the creation of refuges. (AU)
