Abstract

The candidate will carry out his research with seeds of native species from Brazil, aiming to analyze the impact of alternative pathogen control tests (thermal and thermal) on seed conservation during storage. The conservation of seeds in storage can be analyzed by physiological and health analysis of the seeds. Fungi that are important for storage of studied species can be used, kept in culture and sent for identification. It should also present the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and collaborate in the orientation of undergraduate and graduate students and in conducting research projects of the research group to which it belongs.
