Abstract

The research project aims to establish a dialogue between the notion of Dialogical Multiplication developed by Guimarães (2012, 2013, 2017) within the scope of Semiotic-Cultural Constructivism in Psychology with the symbolic ethical-aesthetic-political system proper to the syncretism of the Umbanda and Candomblé terreiros. Given the increasing fierce hostility and social polarization currently, this research aims to contribute to the issues of multiplicity, coexistence and ability to circulate differences in the territory. These aspects are both of interest to the psychologist's work and are also present in the immanent dynamics of the practices and foundations of the Umbanda and Candomblé terreiros, so that they could contribute to the debate.
