Abstract To achieve a circular economic model, companies need to establish cooperating business partners to deliver value to the customer. The cooperation in business ecosystems makes it possible to develop more complete solutions for the market. In this process, digital technologies play a significant role, as it favors networking with different actors and facilitates the transition to a circular economy (CE). However, there is a scarcity of studies exploring the impact of digitalization on the CE in business ecosystems as well as the economic and environmental gains through digitalization. In this sense, this research seeks to investigate how business ecosystems supported by digital technologies can lead to a CE. To respond to the objective of the study, methodological procedures such as systematic literature review, case studies, survey application, and focus group will be performed. The analysis of the results will be carried out using the professional software MAXQDA® for qualitative and quantitative analysis. | |
