Abstract This project aims to explore new light degrees of freedom, which appear in many models, in order to explain low energy experimental data which seem to contradict theoretical expectations. The Kaon decay rate measured by KOTO, the low energy excess of electron-like events observed by MiniBooNE as well as the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon, and perhaps also of the electron, are among these data. In particular, we will investigate these observables in a new extension of the standard model where neutrino masses and mixing are dynamically generated by a dark light sector and that can already explain the excess of events of the MiniBooNE experiment. We will also explore the observable consequences of these light particles in present and future neutrino experiments. (AU) | |
