Abstract This project refers to theoretical conceptual research on narcissistic formations and their relationships with the corporal domain. A survey on the status of the body image was proposed based on a set of texts on the subject through the scientific production of two contemporary psychoanalysts: J-D. Nasio and Sylvie Le Poulichet. The objectives are: to investigate the problem of narcissistic image and its relationship with the body using both authors; to investigate narcissistic formations as they appear in the texts by Sylvie Le Poulichet. This author, relatively unknown in Brazil, can provide elements for thinking about the body itself, as a counterpoint to Nasio's views on the body-image relationship. The expected results are: 1) Conceptual elements for thinking about the problem of body image in an affective dimension and not just as imagery or mentalism; 2) To raise fundamentals about the notion of image and body in order to contribute to the field of clinical practices and their forms of suffering, such as in somatizations, narcissistic depressions and hypochondriac anguish. | |
