Abstract

This work proposes to examine the influence on the soundtrack in the perceived construction of character depth in the character of Arthur Fleck, from the film Joker (2019)By means of musical and semiotic analysis of the scenes on what concerns the narrative and psychological-emotional aspects of the elements that constitute a soundtrack, the work looks to build a possible relationship between the soundtrack of the film, composed by Hildur Guðnadóttir, and the development of the psychological profile of the film's main protagonist.
