Abstract

The optical properties of the materials are directly related to the effectiveness in the initial result of the restorations and also in their longevity. In any restorative treatment, there is a search for a perfect mimicry of nature. This study aims to evaluate the color, brightness and translucency and its maintenance, regarding different CAD / CAM materials for indirect restorations. Through the machining system, disks for 4 groups will be made: Lithium disilicate, hybrid ceramic, high translucency zirconia and polymerized composite. The control group will be conventional composite resin. The specimens will undergo to brightness tests, evaluation of translucency and verification of color variation before and after aging by staining, cycling and repolishing. The data will be submitted to the normality test with a 5% significance level.
