Abstract

Schizophrenia is a psychological disorder that makes social insertion difficult because it presents affective flattening and poverty of speech as a negative symptom, among others. Such manifestations reach speech both in its prosodic characteristics, restricting the intonational variations to a quasi-monotonic realization, as in the discursive syntax, mischaracterizing the speech of its propositional contents due to the variability of its thematic progression. This project aims to verify the possibility of a correlation between difficulties in maintaining intonational and referential progressions, taking them both as time series. In this case, automatic analysis does not dispense with the establishment of linguistic usage patterns that make it possible to establish differences between subjects with different skills. With this, it will be possible to establish controlled values that can serve as parameters for the comparison with results obtained from subjects with schizophrenia. Thus, specifically, it is intended to record a set of speech data extracted from 30 subjects who are not diagnosed with schizophrenia or other psychic disorders.
