Abstract

In this proposal, we intend to develop Delivery Drug Systems (DDS) targeted to receptors of IL-12/IL-23 pro-inflammatory cytokines by specific monoclonal antibodies, seeking to investigate specific uptake and the effect of the drug prednisone in 2D and 3D cellular matrices of the intestinal epithelium of Crohn's Disease patients. The DDS aims to improve the therapeutic efficacy of medicines, directly reflecting on the quality of life of the patients and on medical costs in terms of pathology control, a promising approach for the care of various inflammatory diseases.
