Abstract The present research project aims to present an intercultural comparative analysis of discourses in the autobiography genre considering it in relation to the confluence of (auto) biographical forms that compose the contemporary horizon of the biographical space (ARFUCH, 2010). In the path of the Bakhtinian metalinguistics, we seek to compare discursive constructions produced in distinct linguistic and extralinguistic contexts, thus centering our theoretical-methodological approach on the dialogue between comparative discourse studies (GRILLO; GLUSHKOVA, 2016; GRILLO; HIGASHI, 2018; SANTOS et al. al, 2018) and the postulates of Bakhtin and his Circle. Regarding studies related to autobiography and the writings of self, in addition to Arfuch (2009, 2010), we also use the studies of Gusdorf (1991), Calligaris (1997), Lejeune (2014) and Barros (2011, 2016). We highlight the important role of memory in autobiographical narrativity based on the contributions of Bosi (1994), Torga (2006) and Sarlo (2007). The corpus is composed of autobiographical works by different authors in their respective socio-historical-cultural means that relate their experiences in contexts of repression: unterwegs verloren. Erinnerungen (2008) and Die Autobiographie (2009) respectively of the Austrians Ruth Klüger and Thomas Bernhard; Eu ainda estou aqui (2015) and Em nome dos pais (2017) respectively of the Brazilians Marcelo Rubens Paiva and Matheus Leitão. We hope from the comparative perspective to investigate and better understand how the discourses around these repressive contexts approach or distance themselves based on the peculiarities that compose the discursive cultures in prominence, observing the dialogical relations present in the threads of the autobiographical discursive genre. Nonetheless, we intend to focus on and deepen issues of a theoretical-conceptual nature involving the relationships between narratives of self, memory, literature and experience. (AU) | |
