Abstract

This project contemplates the development of the necessary tools to carry out cross correlations between simulated BINGO data and optical survey catalogs. Particularly in this work, the 6dF Galaxy Redshift Survey catalog will be included. At the end of the master's degree, the student must master the necessary tools to perform the correlations, know the physical processes that can be explored from the synergy of the cross correlations, as well as know the main properties of the BINGO telescope, such as noise characteristics and mechanisms removal of “foregrounds”, which can affect the simulations and the result of the calculation of the cross correlations.
