Abstract Creativity has been highlighted as an essential feature in the 21st century. However, despite this appreciation, Brazil does not have, at the moment, any approved test to evaluate this construct in adolescents and adults. Given this gap, the present study investigates the evidence of the validity of a test for use in this population by adapting an instrument initially developed to assess children's figural creativity (Children's Figural Creativity Test). The study will seek to investigate evidence of validity based on the relationship with external variables of the convergent type. The sample will consist of 100 participants, high school and college students, of both sexes, without age limitation. Participants will answer the quoted test and the Thinking Creatively with Torrance Figures Test. Data analysis will be conducted by the teacher responsible for the project. Initially, the descriptive statistics of each measure and its factors will be estimated. Pearson's correlation will be used to verify the evidence of the validity of the convergent type. | |
