Abstract This activity plan presents the tasks that will be carried out by a scholarship holder in the PORVIR-5G project. The 12-month fellow will investigate zero-touch provisioning functionality, which enables device auto-configuration that will trigger the moment the device connects to the controller. This is an essential feature to facilitate the installation of the equipment and promote automation in the device. A second technical challenge involves building specific firmware to support functionality necessary for programmability (e.g. link aggregation, fast fault recovery, and flow control) of the edge equipment to efficiently enable WAN management. The selected fellow will assist in proposing a model to support automation and programmability. (AU) | |
