Abstract

This project a triple purpose: 1) series of classes (24 lessons of two hours each) for students of the University of Salento and the Instituto Superior Universitário Interdisciplinary on 1.1) Delay times in quantum mechanics and analogy with lateral displacements in optcis, 1.2) Deviations from geometric optcis: Goos-Hänchen shifts and angular deviations,1.3) The weak measurement technique in optics,with the objective of publicizing the research in progress in the Optics group at Unicamp and attracting Italian students to pursue a master's and/or doctorate in Applied Mathematics and/or Physics at Unicamp; 2)strengthen scientific collaboration with the experimental Optics group of the University of Salento (Lecce, Italy), whose scientific responsible is Prof. Maurizio Martino, on 2.1) The oscillatory behavior of light in the composite Goos-Hänchen shift, 2.2) The optimization of the weak measurement technique to detect lateral displacement, 2.3) The resonant photonic tunneling, 2.4) The use of Skew Gaussian distributions to model the transverse breaking of symmetry; 3)organize exchanges of Brazilian and Italian students interested in theoretical research and in Optics that can continue the scientific collaboration between the Universitydo Salento and Unicamp.
