Post-emergency weed control in soybean crop by land and drone application

Abstract

Studies related to the application of pesticides comparing drones and land application are still little addressed, requiring further studies with the use of this new technology to control of weeds in post-emergence in soybean crop. Given this scenario, the objective of the study will be to evaluate the herbicide application, in post-emergence, to control of weeds in soybean crop, comparing land and unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) spraying technologies. Two experiments will be conducted, in a no-tillage system, in the 21/22 and 22/23 crop seasons at the School of Agronomical Sciences - São Paulo State University, Botucatu Campus-SP, located at the Teaching, Research and Extension Farm (FEPE) - Lageado. The experiments will be carried out in a randomized block design and the treatments will be distributed in a factorial scheme of 2 x 2 + 1, (1 herbicide application with drone; 1 application of herbicide with sprayer; 2 applications of herbicide with drone; 2 applications of herbicide with sprayer, and plus a control), in 4 replications, totaling 20 experimental plots. The efficiency of weed control, spray deposit and spray coverage on the plants, the use of products, the operational capacity of both applicator equipment, as well as the soybean productivity will be evaluated. The results obtained through the evaluations will be submitted to analysis of variance (ANOVA) by the F test at 5% of probability and the means, when significant, will be compared by the Tukey test (P d 0.05).
