Abstract

In this project, the study of electronic properties of insecticides used in the agricultural production of the Balsas and Tocantins Rivers is proposed, aiming at the development of sensors. This project is part of a collaborative initiative with the Federal University of Maranhão, in which there is a wide range of agrochemicals (herbicides, fungicides and insecticides) that we intend to study. Thus, we will form a team in which we will divide the types of agrochemicals and sensors between three undergraduate students (two presenting a project to FAPESP and one financed by CNPq). In the present project, the insecticides to be studied can be subdivided into different classes. We will try to establish a set of electronic properties that allow us to propose specific sensors for the determination of each class. In addition, this is the candidate's first scientific initiation project in the area, so she will have to be introduced to various aspects of scientific methodology and the theories and methods involved.(AU)
