Abstract

This project is intended to obtain, describe, model, and simulate the phase change suffered by the electron wave function when they are transmitted through nanosized magnetic materials of different geometries (nanoparticle, nanowire, nanodisk) and with different magnetization configurations (uniform and vortex, for example). Such modeling will be carried out considering the Lorentz Microscopy formalism and, in particular, the Aharonov-Bohm effect. After performing the theoretical modeling for the different geometries, simulations will be developed that aim to quantitatively and qualitatively study the phase change for the different geometries and magnetization configurations, in order to determine how much a Magnetic material can be characterized by observed/predicted phase change.
