Abstract Materials composed of perovskites are considered highly promising alternatives for devices such as solar cells and light-emitting diodes and have attracted interest for their optical and electronic properties and ease of synthesis. However, challenges persist regarding the efficiency and spectral and morphological homogeneity of these materials. In addition to contributing to the improvement of its synthesis, we hope to identify and investigate possible residues of the synthesis, phase segregations and other structural reorganizations and to verify a correlation with inhomogeneities of the emission energy, we will study morphology, the light emission spectrum and the energy states through the combination of probe scanning techniques, spectroscopy and also by a scanning tunneling microscope associated with a light detector.
