Abstract

Agaricus bisporus, knowing as button mushroom, was introduced in Brazil in 1953, and currently this fungus has reached the position of the most consumed mushroom nationally, representing a significant income generation. For its productionsome standardized steps must be followed aiming higher quality and productivity in a shorter cultivation time and lower production cost. The main steps are: preparation of the inoculum, production of substrate, inoculation, addition ofand production. Substrate production is considered the most critical step due to actions such as substrate substrate formulation, homogenization of raw material, humidity and fermentation, also the pasteurization process of physical, chemical and biological conditioning. At the end of the substrate production step, the N content can be corrected with a supplementation, in order to increase productivity, reduce the cultivation cycle and the number of flushes. Currently, there is a market for commercial rich in carbohydrates, proteins and fats, but this is only available in North America and Asia, where mushroom production involves a high level of technology. Brazil being a competitive country in the production of grains,we understand that it is possible to develop a commercial supplement with the same qualities of an international supplement. With this, we intend to elucidate in this projectthe agronomic parameters of A. bisporus using soybean and peanut-based supplement, define the best time to apply the supplement, and characterize the qualitative parameters of the mushroom. The results will be submitted to analysis of variancevariance and the means compared by the Tukey test, under the level of 5% significance.(AU)
