Abstract The present thesis project proposes to investigate the poetry of Max Martins in the line of force and in the procedure of "erasure". The research will be of a bibliographic nature, it will include 10 books of poems by Max Martins and a diary book, a book of visual art, published during his lifetime, between the 1950s and the 2000s.It is also intended to contemplate an unpublished collection of the artist, which consists of literary and plastic material, which the author called "diaries", currently in possession and in the process of being organized by the Museum of the Federal University of Pará, in Belém. This corpus will be selected for the purpose of a critical analysis of the erasure specific. Poems and collages from different textualities of the diaries will be mapped and analyzed, in which the erasure procedure is manifested in its variations. The aim is to study the erasure procedure as fundamental in Max's work, taking Deconstruction as an erasure operation, as a device of difference, which takes place as indeterminacy, delay and collage of poetry, that is, superposition of materialities. The difference is thought from the figuration of the second person in the poetic discourse, the addressing, the displacement of the images of the Amazon and the opening of the identity, figured in poems of signature and counter-signature. The analysis of texts and the thought of Max's poetry are approached mainly with Jacques Derrida (Deconstruction). | |
