Abstract

The grain-size properties of sediment constitute one of the pillars for the characterization of seafloor environments, as well as for the paleoceanographic reconstitution of sedimentary environments. This project aims to recognize the temporal variability of the Antarctic Intermediate Water W flow using grain-size data. Two key questions are presented1. Have there been changes in grain-size populations since the Last Glacial Maximum?2. Have there been significant changes in current strengths over the same period?(AU)
