Abstract This project aims to make relevant contributions to the understanding of the fermion nature of massive neutrinos (Dirac or Majorana)as well as to try to establish if the neutrino mass generation mechanism is related or not to the violation of lepton charge. To this purpose, we will investigate various models where $\vert \Delta L \vert=2$ processes may or not be related to the mechanism of mass and mixing responsible for the observed neutrino oscillations. We will search correlations among observable of different experiments, such as the ones that search for neutrinoless double beta decay, violation of the lepton number in $\mu \to e \gamma$, $\mu \to 3 e$, $\mu^-N \to e^-N$, meson (K,B) decays or that search for new particles at the LHC in the context of these models. | |
