Abstract

The prison population in Brazil is the third largest in the world and demands attention, as well as people from this system, especially when considering the intersectionalities of gender, social class, ethnic-racial relations, among others, and the impacts on their daily lives such as stigmas, the segregation, inequalities and exclusions that cross their lives. Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) show themselves as an important supporter, given the potential in network care and support in facing this phase of life, as is the case of the NGO Casa Flores [Flowers House]. As a result, this project aims to evaluate and identify what types of support impact the process of social reintegration of women released from the prison system, based on the narratives of these women. The qualitative research intends to be carried out in three stages: document analysis, semi-structured interviews with women released from the prison system, linked to Casa Flores and the holding of a group meeting with the aim of applying the visual methodology of body mapping. The research proposes to contribute to the discussion and reflection on which activities, processes and support collaborate to support and transform the daily life of women released from the prison system. Thus, it also aims to assertively contribute to the consolidation of these practices with the female population, in different spaces and social sectors, in view of all the subjectivities that permeate their daily lives, especially after the experience of deprivation of their freedom.
