Abstract

The aim of this work plan is to evaluate the hematological response of sheep supplemented with zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles and infected with H. contortus. Sixty lambs will be divided into 6 treatments: Control without zinc supplementation (with and without H. contortus infection), micrometric ZnO (with and without H. contortus infection) and nanoparticle ZnO (with and without H. contortus infection). Animals in the infected group received 500 H. contortus L3/week for 5 months and blood collection will be performed every 30 days.
