Abstract

This project aims to establish the basic theory of Retarded Functional Differential Equations (RFDE) and to present some applications of this study to certain models. That is, enunciate and prove the classic results about existence of solution, continuation of solution, continuity with respect to initial conditions and study the stability of autonomous equations. Exemplify this theory through models, including studying a Kaldor-Kalechi economic model with delay.
