Abstract The body is currently placed in different spheres (digital media, social networks, doctors' offices, gyms, among others) and exerts great influence on the subjective constitution of individuals, especially during adolescence. It is observed in the psychoanalytic clinic of adolescents, an increase in scarification, tattoos, aesthetic procedures, piercings, cutting, the use of hormones, and the desire for gender reassignment surgeries. The adolescent is faced with the bodily changes resulting from puberty, which can be accompanied by traumatic experiences, and is driven to make a new body composition, building fantastic theories as a defensive strategy or as a fulfillment of unconscious desires. The present work aims to discuss the contributions of the Sylvie Le Poulichet's perspective of the 'formless (shapeless)', to understand the adolescent's corporal compositions nowadays. This is a theoretical research in the psychoanalytic field, with literature review, highlighting the work of Sylvie Le Poulichet, focusing on the notion of body and the theory of the 'formless (shapeless)'. | |
