Abstract

This research proposal, linked to the Project Writing and Discursive Teaching: from conceptual delimitation to its role in the hidden aspects of academic literacy, focuses on a theoretical-analytical approach, whose general objective is to describe and analyze the functioning of junction mechanisms (JMs) used in prescriptive Discursive Tradition (DT) texts. Based on a specific approach to JMs, in the context of acquiring the written mode of enunciation, the objective is to infer the linguistic correlates, of a syntactic-semantic nature, associated with them, regarding the prescriptive DT, in which they are observed and which help build. For this purpose, 50 texts produced by subjects from Cycle 1 of Elementary School, regularly enrolled in public schools in the city of Assis-SP, will be analyzed using a quantitative-qualitative approach (10 texts per year). The results of this proposal may, therefore, contemplate aspects concerning the linguistic analysis of conjunctive forms, in the context of writing acquisition.
